What is the difference between the Android player and other players? What is a DAP?
The Android player runs on the Android system, allowing both local playback and online use of Android apps.

DAP stands for Digital Audio Player. It is commonly used to describe dedicated, high-quality music players, and to distinguish them from traditional MP3 players with limited audio performance.

How do I use the Surfans F20PRO?
Android app playback: Play music through installed Android music or streaming apps.

Local playback: Insert a storage card to access files directly; Or transfer files from a computer, then disconnect and use the file manager or local player to scan and play.

How can I transfer songs to my Surfans F20PRO using a MacOS?
The Surfans F20PRO runs Android, and currently macOS may not be able to transfer files directly due to system limitations. We recommend using a Windows PC or a card reader to transfer music. Connect your device or remove the memory card, then copy your music files to the appropriate folder. Safely eject the device or card when finished.
Where is the quick settings?
Swipe down from the top edge of the screen to open the navigation bar for quick settings, such as Bluetooth, gain, button lock, and more.

The button lock can be set by the user to determine whether physical buttons are active when the screen is off, providing convenience and preventing accidental presses.

Why does my Surfans F20PRO keep automatically powering off?
By default, the device will automatically power off after 10 minutes of inactivity. You can adjust this setting in the device settings.
What should I do if the device crashes?
Although the Android player can run Android apps, its primary focus is audio processing. Please avoid opening multiple apps at the same time or using large non-audio apps, as this may cause the device to become unresponsive.

App crash: Press the recent apps button, long-press the app process, and swipe up to close; or long-press the power button to restart the device.

Device crash: Try restarting the device; or use the reset pinhole next to the power button; or restore factory settings.

What is Surfans Hifi Player?
Surfans Hifi Player is a pre-installed local music player that can start playing your files once scanning is complete.
I want to update the firmware.
You can find the firmware update guide and the corresponding files in the navigation menu under Service & Support → Manual. Please follow the instructions there to complete the update.
